Hi folks,

Just for thought... is there law against holsterless carry?

no, but a holster usually covers the trigger and would thus be an additional safety.

It certainly does.  I was just interested in the legal aspect.

Open carry means the gun can be seen and identified, concealed carry means, no one can see it so what difference does it make what it is in.  As suggested, a holster is safer.  I often use a pocket holster for my BG.38

Only Hollywood types and hoods carry in their waist band.

There is no Delaware code that requires a holster.  It would be extremely difficult for legislators to come up with language for “legal holstering” when so many scenarios exist.
