4 to 6 months?

Hi all,
well, I turned in all my paperwork to the Prothonary office today
and they told me I should get a letter from the AG in 4 to 6 months?
I thought everyone was telling me 4-6 weeks before I would hear something.
Has anyone else recently turned in the paperwork and got the same info as I did?

One or more of the following:
1) They are setting expectations low, because they figure applicants will call fewer times to inquire.
2) They are already seeing this year's flood of renewal applications, which will be processed first before any new applications.
3) They have faced up to the reality that it actually takes them 4 to 6 months to accomplish what most states can accomplish in a few weeks.
