How long has it been taking to get a first time permit in NCC

Best guess is 5-6 months as this time of year they are processing renewals. All licenses expire on May 31st of the year they are due so with 4,000+ renewals that is the focus.  If you file now I would’ expect early fall.  Sometimes they do surprise us though. Good luck.
