I'm getting ready to purchase a Glock 19 for EDC in place of my Glock 26, just like the feel better. What I do like about the 26 is the extra taper on the front end of the slide. Is it possible to get this done on the 19 slide?

I'm guessing you can, but I don't know for sure. I have a Glock 19 and love it for EDC.

Glock 19 looks like a nice , well balanced gun. Why try to re-invent the wheel?

The man likes what he likes! :)
You should join the Glock forum, and ask those gents. Looks like a good forum.

del.. not saying to not buy that G19 but before you do have you handled a Walther PPQ? If not you should give it some consideration. The fantastic trigger is hands down the best out there of any striker pistol and the ergonomics make it feel like it was molded right from your hand. The original PPQ (M1 or Classic) had the paddle release that I personally favor however the new PPQ M2 has the American favored button mag release. If your looking for something that 'feels better' the PPQ will not disappoint you.
If not enjoy that new G19 you pickup. ;D

Tried out a Glock 23 at Targetmaster last week and it shot well and hid well in my holster. I think I'll still go with the 19 for now and readdress the 23 in the spring when I get my next GSSF coupon. Now if Lawmen Supply would just get more in I'd be all set.

I was a Smith & Wesson guy until I bought a Glock 19. Now the 19 is my everyday carry.
