Not sure how much stock I'd put in that list given what's on there and what's conspicuously missing.  It's a list from 2018 and conspicuously absent are the Glock 42 and Glock 43, the M&P Shields, the Walther PPS/PPSM2, the Sig P320 Sub Compact, Ruger LCP, etc...yet somehow, the Sccy CPX and Bersa Thunder make the list  ??? ??? ???

For those who may not know:

The Sig P238 has 6+1 of .380 w/manual safety and aluminum frame

The Sig P938 has 6+1 of 9mm w/manual safety and aluminum frame. Extended mag gets you to 7+1.

The Sig P365 has 10+1 of 9mm w/o a manual safety and polymer frame. An extended mag adds 1/2" to height and 2 more rounds for 12+1. Add a spare and you're carrying 25 rounds of 9mm in a very small package.

Who cares about that....carry gun why you need a dozen rounds...when was the last time you pulled your carry gun? and if so you need that many rounds?? give me a break a sig 238 and 938 is far superior...

Because not all Bad Guys quit fighting just because they've been shot. If they are determined, they won't have a "psychological stop" so you'll need to make them experience a "physiological stop." This off duty LEO shot, at close range, at a BG 10x and hit him 6x with 9mm, yet the BG kept fighting until he bled out.

Graphic video shows each stage of the attack 3x The shooting part starts ~6:50 min in and, like the rest, is shown 3x

Remember: that's 10 shots to make 6 hits on only 1 BG at close range: imagine how many you'd need if there are 2 or 3 BGs/terrorists.

But if you prefer to carry a gun that's the same size of the P365, but has fewer rounds of the same cartridge (9mm) or even a less powerful cartridge (.380/9mm kurz), go for it....

I'm a pessimist. 21 rounds of full-strength 10mm is my minimum.
In Alaska, they consider it adequate for bears.

Mac19701:
Guess I'll have to try it at the range but here's my experience:  I owned a G26 for a long time along w G19, G17 and G22.  Don't like the 26 w/o pinky extension, but when I do that, the grip is same length as the 19 and the 19 carries 15 rounds w a longer barrel so I don't see the advantage. The grip I s what prints. The barrel is down ur pants in IWB.  After a few years of collecting dust in the safe, I traded my 26.   I'm guessing the 365 w pinky extension will have same issue.  Can't argue the 1" thickness, but that's only quarter inch thinner than the Glocks.  Is that really a difference of just marketing.

Don't get me wrong:  not talking bad abt the 365, just not convinced it's the ultimate EDC.  I have an LC9s but still carry the G19 90% of the time.  Just my humble opinion,  YMMV.

MarkB:
I find that the P365 fits my small hands better than any pistol I've held and I'm 72.  It's easy to shoot, conceals very well and has 13 rounds (12+1).  Make that 25 rounds with a spare 12 round mag.

I've heard and read about how hard it is to find the P365.  Some have waited 6 months on lists.  All I know is I called Chris of Federal Firearms on Friday, 8/31, to order a P365 and he called me today, 9/5, to let me know it has arrived and is ready for pickup.  His cost was less than ordering online and paying shipping and transfer fees (faster also).  Thanks, Chris.  I'll see you tomorrow.
