this thing is flimsy
« on: November 13, 2009, 01:06:05 AM »
I just picked up my permit and am shocked out how it's made.  It's just a cheap photocopy glued together.  Will reciprocal states take it seriously?

As scarry as it may seem they will honor it.

I was expecting something like a drivers license. Guess its just a flimsy little card like a voters registration card?

I've had to freaking super glue the edges of my permit all the way around now.

They can verify it 24/7 by phone... or on their computers. From the AG's reciprocity page:

"Law enforcement officials from other jurisdictions can verify Delaware CCDW permits by contacting the Delaware State Police Headquarters on a 24/7 basis via NLET.AM directed to DEDSP0000 or by calling 302-739-5901"
"She's petite, extremely beautiful, and heavily armed."

I just wish they would make it a little bit smaller...the size of a credit card or drivers license.  The way they are now they don't fit in a wallet very well.

I've cut the plastic down on my DE CCDW a little bit.  Makes it fit better.

As far as Centre Co., copy it at 60%. Laminate the copy.  Keep original safe.

I know I've asked this question before, but bare with me... I'm blonde and have the attention span of a gnat.   ;D

Who, what, where are you getting your PA copies laminated??

Thanks!

It is a LTCF which you need when transporting in PA to the range while on your hip.  PA does NOT have a "PERMIT".
