Title: Revo Holster System
Post by: SturmRugerSR9 on December 14, 2017, 07:35:52 PM
Anybody ever try a Revo holster from Urban Carry Holsters. Looks kind of neat and versatile . Like some response, especially if you own one.

I was not a fan of the last holster they came out with.  However this does look a little more practical than shoving your firearm in a pouch then shoving it down your pants.

I have one issue that concerns me after looking at their web page. On the holsters shown in the pictures the ejection port of semi auto pistols is not blocked out. The indent at the ejection port will subject the holster to cutting or scraping by the edge of the ejection port on the draw stroke causing interior damage to the holster.  Many semi autos have fairly sharp edge at the ejection port. Secondly the indent of the ejection port will press on the slide from the ejection port to the muzzle during holster and draw strokes which could lead to more damage to the firearm finish at that contact point than would be expected if the ejection port was properly blocked out.
